Islamabad : The federal government has announced it will run five special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2025 not only to facilitate travel but also to promote inter-provincial connectivity. This decision is being seen not only to facilitate the movement of people on Eid but also as a serious effort to strengthen connectivity between different regions of Pakistan.

The project, prepared under the supervision of Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi on the special direction of the Prime Minister, will strengthen railway connectivity between the four major units of the country – Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Such initiatives at festivals like Eid not only provide an opportunity for families to come closer. But it also sends a message of unity and solidarity within the country.
