Bergenstock (Pakistans Today) — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again reiterated the position that the world should prioritize dialogue and diplomacy over war to resolve conflicts. During important meetings and contacts held in Switzerland, he appreciated Iran’s steps to reduce tension and said that the need for restraint and responsibility has increased more than ever in the current situation.

Talking to media representatives, the Prime Minister said that the Iranian delegation demonstrated seriousness and patience in the negotiation process. According to him, Iran’s leadership appears sincere in promoting peace in the region and its aim is to reduce conflicts, not further escalate them.

The Prime Minister explained that peace can be established in any region only when the concerned parties are willing to understand each other’s concerns and find solutions through dialogue. He said that the use of force can give temporary results, but lasting stability is always achieved through diplomacy and political strategy.

In his speech, Shahbaz Sharif also commented on US President Donald Trump, saying that he sees him as a leader who is interested in promoting peace. According to the Prime Minister, efforts to reduce conflicts in various international issues reflect this thinking.

The Prime Minister also discussed the future of Pakistan-US relations. He said that there is a possibility of improvement in relations between the two countries and if the current positive trend continues, this cooperation can be further strengthened. He expressed hope that the two countries will work together in areas of common interest.

According to experts, Pakistan’s diplomatic stance in the current global situation is relatively clear. Pakistan has been supporting continuous dialogue, adherence to international laws and peaceful resolution of disputes. This is why Islamabad also emphasizes prioritizing diplomatic channels at various international forums.

Political analysts say that the effects of tensions in the Middle East and other sensitive regions are felt all over the world. Energy markets, global trade and investment climate are directly linked to peace and stability. In such a situation, statements and diplomatic efforts of world leaders assume importance.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on the occasion that Pakistan wants a peaceful and stable region where countries move forward under the principles of mutual respect and cooperation. According to him, peace is a basic condition for development, prosperity and economic stability.

His statement reflects the broader message that current global challenges can only be met through joint efforts, dialogue and diplomatic contacts. This is why Pakistan is continuously supporting political resolution of conflicts and regional cooperation.
