Sui Gas

The gas crisis in the country has intensified further, where a sharp decrease in RLNG reserves has been recorded.

According to sources at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (Sui Northern), the daily supply of RLNG has decreased to 700 million cubic feet, which was previously about 1200 million cubic feet.

Sources say that the total gas shortfall has exceeded 600 million cubic feet, which is affecting various sectors.

According to reports, gas supply to the power sector and fertiliser industry has reached an extremely low level, while domestic consumers are also facing a shortage of supply.

According to experts, a gas shortage can directly impact the energy sector and industrial production, which can increase economic pressure.
