Supreme Court to start new judicial year on September 8

The new judicial year 2025-26 of the Supreme Court is going to start from next Monday, September 8. According to the issued announcement, an inaugural conference will be held on this occasion at 9:30 am in which judicial reforms will be considered.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan will shed light on the new priorities and goals of the judiciary in this conference, while a detailed review of the progress of reform measures will also be taken.

The announcement further said that after the conference, a One-Stop Public Facilitation Center will be inaugurated in the Supreme Court, which is being considered an important step towards providing direct facilities to the public.

Law Analysts say that if this facility center is run effectively, it can further strengthen the direct contact between the judiciary and the public. This will not only improve the reputation of the judicial system but may also restore public confidence in the delivery of justice.
