BISP Payments of Rs 13,500 in July 2025, New Portal Active
Lahore: Payment of Rs 13,500 to eligible persons has started in July 2025 under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). The process of verifying eligibility and amount has been made easier through the updated 8171 portal.
According to the spokesperson, the new portal now also works on low-cost smartphones. Eligibility can also be checked through SMS by sending CNIC to 8171.
Eligible persons include:
Widows and elderly women
Disabled persons
Low-income households (≤Rs 25,000)
Receipt of the amount is possible from biometric ATMs, HBL, or BISP centers. Officials say beware of fake messages; only 8171 is an official number.
