Iran’s Supreme Mojtaba Khamenei has urged Muslim countries to put aside their differences and strengthen unity and cooperation. He said that efforts to divide the Muslim world should be avoided.
In a written message, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said that the solution to the problems of Islamic countries lies in mutual unity and cooperation with each other. He accused the US and Israel of using ethnic, cultural, political and other differences between Muslim countries for division.
The Iranian Supreme Leader described the US and Israel as hostile forces not only for Iran but also for the entire Muslim world. He especially urged countries in the region to adopt a common strategy regarding their interests and security. This statement came at a time when tensions between Iran and the US and the security situation in the region remain sensitive.
On the other hand, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei also directed the Iranian government to take effective measures to overcome the country’s economic difficulties. He urged the government to avoid such statements that increase public despair. Iranian President Masoud described the message as a sign of continued support for the government and a pledge to maintain national unity.
