The second phase of payment for those who wish to perform Hajj next year under the official Hajj scheme will start from October 5. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed pilgrims to submit their second installment by October 20 and also ensure completion of medical documents.
According to the ministry, the Pak Hajj app and the digital Hajj portal can be used to submit the second installment. Pilgrims are advised to keep in mind the due dates to avoid delay in the payment process. Negligence at this stage may create difficulties for their Hajj request.
Important deadlines have also been fixed for those wishing to change the Hajj package. The ministry has clarified that the package modification facility will be closed on October 4 at 12 pm. After that pilgrims will not be able to change their selected package. Therefore, those who want to change their selection must complete the process before the deadline.
It has also been made mandatory to upload the medical fitness certificate for payment of the second installment. Pilgrims can submit this document through the Pak Haj app or the Digital Haj portal. According to the ministry, fulfilling medical requirements is an essential part of Hajj arrangements, so this step should not be neglected before payment.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has warned that the Hajj applications of those who do not submit the second installment by October 20 will be cancelled. However, in case of cancellation, the amount already deposited will be refunded to the respective pilgrims’ accounts.
It is better for pilgrims to complete their payment and documents on time instead of waiting for the deadline. This will not only help in avoiding possible technical problems but also facilitate the completion of the next stages of Hajj preparations.
