Four new passport sub-zones established in Punjab, citizens will get more convenience

Lahore: Director General Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi has said that in order to further improve passport services in Punjab, the province has been divided into two major zones and four new sub-zones have been established.

According to the announcement, Lahore and Gujranwala have been given the status of sub-zones in Central Punjab, while Multan and Bahawalpur have been given the status of sub-zones in South Punjab.  The aim of this initiative is to provide passport services to citizens at their doorsteps and ensure speedy disposal of applications.

DG Passports said that modern resources are being used for timely issuance of passports, while steps are being taken to provide quality and transparent facilities to Pakistani citizens around the world.

According to the Passport Department, the establishment of new sub-zones will not only reduce the time and travel cost of citizens but will also make it easier for them to obtain passports.
