PM Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Ankara on a visit to Turkey; an important meeting with the Turkish President will be held today
ANKARA: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Ankara on a two-day official visit to Turkey. The visit is taking place at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
On his arrival in Ankara, the prime minister was received by Turkish Defense Minister Yasser Güler, Deputy Governor of Ankara Zafar Orhan, President of the Pakistan Turkish Cultural Association Burhan Qaytaraq, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Dr. Yousuf Junaid, and other high officials.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will call on Turkish President Rajab Tayyab Erdogan today. The meeting will focus on further expanding bilateral relations, enhancing economic cooperation, and discussing important regional and global issues. The two leaders will also hold a joint press conference.
The prime minister will also hold meetings with Turkish investors and business delegations during his stay. To create new opportunities for investment in Pakistan.
