ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, while congratulating the nation and the world of Islam on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 Hijri, said that Ramadan teaches us patience, worship, and helping the poor.
He urged that we should implement the blessings of Ramadan in our daily lives, as the real happiness lies in sharing our happiness with others. Emphasizing the payment of Zakat, Sadaqat, and Fitr, the President said that the day of Eid gives a message of unity and solidarity.
He appealed to the people of Kashmir to remain united for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and prayed to Allah to grant them freedom soon.
