Prime Minister pays tribute to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed on Martyrdom Day

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has paid tribute to the great son of the nation, Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider), on the Martyrdom Day, who laid down his life for the motherland while fighting the enemy with youthful vigor 67 years ago today.

In his statement, the Prime Minister said that the entire nation salutes the sacrifice of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed. He said that Major Tufail Muhammad created a history of bravery and courage that is a beacon of light for the coming generations.

PM further said that Pakistan is proud of its armed forces which are fighting the enemy on every front. We are indebted to all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of the country.

He stressed that the nation will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and will keep their mission alive.
