268th Urs of Baba Bulleh Shah in Kasur, three-day spiritual gatherings and public holiday

Kasur: The 268th Urs celebrations of Sufi poet Baba Bulleh Shah are starting from August 22 in Kasur district and will continue till August 24. The district administration has paid special attention to security and administrative aspects to provide a peaceful and comfortable environment to the pilgrims. During this time, Mahafil-e-Sama, Qawwali and special prayers will continue, while banquets and other facilities have also been made for the people visiting the court.

A public holiday has also been declared in Kasur on Saturday, August 23, on the occasion of the Urs so that the people can participate with full devotion.
The highlight of this time is the focus on administrative preparations and local cultural and social impacts. The atmosphere of peace during the Urs and the excellent reception of the pilgrims highlight Kasur as a spiritual and cultural center.
