Ataullah Tarar’s statement, India is not in a position to stop the water, the ceasefire is the victory of Pakistan’s strategy

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar has said that India does not have the capacity to stop Pakistan’s water, and the water supply is currently going on as usual. He said the recent ceasefire between Pakistan and India was the result of diplomatic efforts by various friendly countries.

In an interview to British TV, Atta Tarar said that China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and the UAE played an important role in the ceasefire, while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed special thanks to US President Donald Trump, who expressed his desire to resolve the Kashmir issue.

Atta Tarar said that Pakistan expressed regret and sympathy over the Pahalgam incident and offered to cooperate in a transparent investigation, but India made allegations without any evidence, which have not been proven to date. India has completely failed to connect this incident with Pakistan.

He said that no group has claimed responsibility for the incident, while the occurrence of the incident despite such a large military presence is a failure of Indian security agencies. According to Ata Tarar, the first contact between the DGMOs has been made and the ceasefire is a success of Pakistan’s strategy, not a weakness.

He said that there is no safe haven for terrorists in Pakistan and continuous operations are being carried out against terrorists on the western borders. Pakistan has sacrificed innocent civilians, army officers and jawans.

The Federal Minister of Information said that Pakistan targeted Indian military installations and arms depots, India has suffered clear losses, and it is no longer in a position to provoke further tension. The entire nation is standing with Pakistan and the victory is Pakistan’s.
