Benazir Income Support Program: 8171 new web portal launched for Rs 13,500 payment

Islamabad:The Government of Pakistan has launched a new 8171 web portal for verification of July 2025 payments of Rs 13,500 under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

Additionally, mobile registration vans are being deployed across the country to remote areas where trained staff complete biometric registration on the spot with the help of CNIC.

This initiative is being taken especially in rural areas, markets, schools and community centers so that even the remotest people can benefit from the program. Only the original CNIC is required for registration, no additional paperwork.

Eligible persons for payment include:

  • Unemployed and low-income families
  • People with disabilities or chronic diseases
  • Eunuchs or neglected sections

How to check payment:

On the web: Go to the 8171 web portal, enter CNIC, and see the information.

Via SMS: Write your CNIC number and send it to 8171, you will get an immediate response on eligibility (free service).
