Politics of hatred and chaos harmed the country, Attaullah Tarar

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that in recent years, politics based on hatred, division and personal interest have been promoted in the country, as a result of which both state institutions and the economy have come under pressure.

Addressing a function, he said that a certain political party criticized and attacked defense institutions, which was against the national interest. According to him, under the guise of slogans of change, the public was misled and chaos was spread instead of development.

The Federal Minister said that this was the first time in the country’s history that a political party had requested the International Monetary Fund to stop financial assistance to Pakistan. He clarified that such actions affected Pakistan’s reputation at the global level.

Attaullah Tarar said that during the PTI era, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing severe administrative and development problems, while hatred and character assassination were used as political weapons.

He said that during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, motorways, industries and major development projects were completed, which provided a strong foundation for the country’s economy. According to him, these are the projects that are still playing a key role in the defense and development of the country today.

The Federal Minister said that even while in the opposition, Shahbaz Sharif talked about the economic charter, which reflects the national thinking. According to him, the goal of the PML-N has always been public service and economic stability.
