New gas supply schedule announced amid winter demand in Pakistan.

As winter demand puts increasing pressure on Pakistan’s gas network, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has introduced a revised schedule for domestic gas supply aimed at ensuring equitable distribution across urban and rural areas.

As per the new timing plan, households will get gas in three specific slots: 5:30 am to 8:30 am, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Outside these hours, consumers may face low pressure or temporary supply suspension.

Authorities say the move is aimed at balancing consumption across the country and preventing shortages during the winter peak. The company stressed that the arrangement is temporary and may be adjusted depending on weather conditions or supply fluctuations.

SNGPL has also requested citizens to plan their household routines, especially during cooking hours, to avoid inconvenience.

Meanwhile, the public has been urged to use gas responsibly and report any illegal connections or theft immediately to ensure stable supply in the coming cold months.
