PML-N Mobilizes for Local Government Elections in Punjab

Pakistan Muslim League (N) Punjab has intensified the party’s organizational alignment and started preparations for the local government elections.

The meeting chaired by Party Punjab President Rana Sanaullah discussed the future course of action regarding the local government elections. The meeting decided to increase party activities at the division, district, tehsil and union council levels.

Party officials have been directed to strengthen public relations in their areas and activate local organizations for election preparations.

The meeting also considered a proposal that more opportunities be given to those workers in the local government elections who remained with the party during difficult times. A detailed roadmap for election preparations will be prepared and presented to the leadership.

The issue of establishment of new provinces was also discussed in the meeting of PML (N) Punjab. The participants said that this issue should be discussed and decided through parliament.

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Javed Botha and Mohsin Ranjha were appointed as vice-presidents of PML (N) Punjab.
