PSX 100 Index up 151 points, failed to maintain 147,000 points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s 100 index saw an increase of 151 points during trading today, after which the index closed at 146,680 points. However, the index could not maintain the level of 147,000 points.

During the trading session, the 100 index also touched a high of 147,534 points, but due to the effects of the downturn, it could not be maintained for long. It should be noted that last Wednesday, the 100 index closed at 146,529 points due to a negative trend.

According to experts, this volatility in the market was due to the cautious policies of investors and the global economic conditions.
