Gold Prices Surge Past Rs 300,000 per Tola, Hitting Record Highs Again

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan surpassed Rs 300,000 per tola for a second time when the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association recorded a new record high at Rs 303,000 per tola after prices increased by Rs 4,000 during a single day. Historical analysis shows this represents the second occasion when gold prices exceeded Rs 300,000 per tola, although the first peak occurred on February 7 at Rs 300,346 per tola. The domestic gold prices align with global trends because international gold prices increased by
42$ to 2,903$ per ounce.

Gold prices demonstrate a steady upward trend because of growing economic instability, which leads people to choose this valuable resource for investments alongside consumer purchases.
