Government’s Non-Tax Revenue from Petroleum Levy and SBP Profit Reaches Record Rs 4,959 Billion

Islamabad: The federal government’s non-tax revenue reached a record Rs 4,959 billion in the fiscal year 2024-25. According to sources, this increase has been possible due to petroleum levy and State Bank profit.

According to the report, petroleum levy collections have reached Rs 1,220 billion, while a target of Rs 1,468 billion has been set for next year. Currently, the levy per liter on petrol and diesel is up to Rs 78. In addition, the State Bank has transferred Rs 2,619 billion to the government.
