Military solution to Strait of Hormuz tension not possible : Iranian Foreign Minister

Abbas Araghchi has said that the recent developments in the Strait of Hormuz indicate that there is no military solution to a political crisis.

He said in his statement that progress is being made in the negotiations due to Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, which is a positive sign. However, he warned that the US should be wary of such factors that could again embroil it in a complicated situation.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also said regarding the United Arab Emirates that it should also be cautious and avoid actions that increase tensions in the region. He criticized the US initiative “Project Freedom”, calling it “Project Deadlock” and said that such actions could further confuse them instead of solving problems.

According to analysts, Iran’s stance comes at a time of rising regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts globally. They say that in the current situation, all parties should exercise restraint.
