Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange records mixed session, benchmark 100 index back by 202 points.Today’s Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) trading was mixed as the KSE-100 index shrunk by 202 points today and concluded today at 116,052.

During the session, the 100 Index proved volatile, trading at a range of 3,165 points and going as low as 113,677 points before rebounding during the closing session. Much activity was noticed in the market in terms of the total number of shares, 790 million shares exchanged, and total turnover of Rs 39 billion.

The day also witnessed a cut in the market capitalization by Rs. 42 billion, and gains touched the figure of Rs. 14,520 billion.

From the above analysis, the investors are now waiting for some significant changes in the economic environment that will help in shaping the direction of the market in the subsequent days.
