Pakistan’s strength is its determination and self-reliance: DG ISPR

Islamabad: Lt. General Ahmed Sharif Chaudry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in an interview that Pakistan’s biggest strength is its strong resolve and self-reliance. He said, “Our desire for martyrdom is greater than life itself, and after Allah we are most dependent on ourselves.”

Underlining the global issues and challenges, he said the world is facing the problems of climate change and growing population, but Pakistan is ready to counter any unjustified aggression. Lt. General Ahmed Sharif made it clear that Pakistan never bows down to anyone and will continue its fight against terrorism.

He also appreciated Pakistan’s close relations with China and said the two countries were making joint efforts for peace and development in the region. He said that the atmosphere of peace and humanity is clearly visible in the streets of Pakistan, and all this is the gift of Allah.
