Political tension in the T20 World Cup, Pakistan’s refusal to play against India

Uncertainty has arisen over the most awaited Pakistan-India match in the T20 World Cup, as Pakistan has decided not to play the match against India.

According to a government spokesperson, the Pakistan team will participate fully in the tournament, but it has been decided to withdraw from the match against India scheduled for February 15. Sources say that this step has been taken as a protest against some decisions of the ICC.

The national team will leave for Sri Lanka tomorrow to complete the preparations for the event, but the cancellation of the Pakistan-India match has surprised and disappointed cricket fans, as this competition is always the most watched match globally.

According to sports experts, such decisions can affect the commercial and sports value of the tournament. They say that “the absence of the Pakistan-India match will affect broadcasting revenue and fan interest, but national policy and principles cannot be ignored.”

Now it remains to be seen how the ICC will deal with this situation and whether any changes are made to the schedule or not.
