Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, in a statement issued after the killing of 9 foreigners in the recent terrorist incident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has paid tribute to the performance of the security forces. He said that thanks to the professionalism and timely actions of the Pakistani forces, the terrorist network in the country is being rapidly foiled.
The Prime Minister said that terrorists are enemies of humanity, and their nefarious intentions will be foiled at all costs. He said that the nation and institutions are standing together against terrorists with complete unity, and the complete eradication of this scourge from the country is the top priority of the government.
The Prime Minister made it clear that terrorist elements working under the patronage of India will be brought to justice. He added that the protection of the lives and property of the people is the responsibility of the state, and for this purpose, the government and security forces are working in complete coordination.
