Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan Script History in Pakistan’s Victory Over South Africa

Karachi: The third match of the tri-series in Karachi became historic when Salman Ali Agha paired with captain Mohammad Rizwan to create a sixth-wicket six-wicket win for Pakistan against South Africa. Both batsmen orchestrated the fourth wicket partnership that surpassed all records with 260 runs before they notched hundred runs in the same inning. The bat duo’s outstanding performance occurred when Pakistan’s initial batsmen fell short to leave their team at 91/3 before making history.

Their partnership established a new second-best fourth-wicket record in cricket history beyond Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf. The 27th time Pakistani batsmen achieved centuries in the same innings occurred during this game. Salman and Rizwan achieved their heroic double century stand to generate a spectacular triumph that showcased their mental strength and capability in critical situations.
