Security high alert in educational institutions of Punjab, order to immediately audit all schools

The Punjab government has decided to further tighten security arrangements in educational institutions across the province. According to the government notification issued, it has been made mandatory for all schools to ensure 100 percent implementation of the prescribed security regulations, while the responsibility for the safety of students and staff will fall directly on the school heads.

The education department has directed all government and private schools to immediately complete a comprehensive security audit. Orders have been issued to eliminate any shortcomings found during the inspections without any delay.

Under this notification, field officers have also been required to visit schools on a daily basis and monitor the implementation of security arrangements. According to officials, these measures are essential to ensure the safety of educational institutions.

The government has also issued special instructions to the principals of Danish schools and cadet colleges, emphasizing more vigilance, diligent monitoring and strict adherence to all safety regulations.
