Sindh Announces Two-Day Christmas Holiday for Christian Community

The Sindh government has officially announced a two-day holiday, providing additional facilities for the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Services, General Administration and Coordination Sindh, Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day will be observed on December 25, 2025, while December 26, 2025, will be a public holiday only for the Christian community.

The notification clarified that these holidays will be applicable in all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, corporations and local councils under the Sindh government; however, employees associated with essential services will be exempted from this facility.
