Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has warned that the weather will remain extremely hot and dry in most parts of the country during the next two days, while light rain is also expected in certain areas in the evening or night, which may provide temporary relief.

According to the details, the weather will remain extremely hot in Islamabad and its surroundings during the day, but after the evening, the weather may become partly cloudy, where there may be strong winds and thundershowers. This situation may provide temporary relief to citizens from the heat.

Temperatures are expected to increase in the southern and central districts of Punjab. The weather is expected to remain extremely hot in Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, and D.G. Khan, among other areas, but light rain is likely in Murree, Galiat, and the Potohar region in the evening.

Most areas of Sindh are also in the grip of extreme heat, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, and Tharparkar. Residents of these areas have been urged to take precautions, especially to protect themselves from the sun and heatwave.

The weather will also remain hot in Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, DI Khan, and Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while rain and strong winds are expected in the evening in mountainous areas like Chitral, Dir, Karak, and Waziristan.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will remain high in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the day, but the weather may change in the evening and night. Rain is expected at some places, which is likely to improve the weather.

The organization has appealed to the public not to leave their homes unnecessarily during the intense heat, to use more water, and to take special care of the health of children and the elderly. To avoid the sun, keep your head covered and prefer to stay in cool places.
