Internet service likely to be affected, international cable repair to continue for 18 hours

According to a spokesperson for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), the International Cable Consortium has issued a schedule for repair of the repeater installed in the sea, which will start today, October 14, from 11 am.

According to the spokesperson, this technical work may continue for about 18 hours, during which users across the country may face slowdown or partial disruption in internet service.

Officials have explained that this repair is part of necessary technical maintenance to ensure the stability and continuity of the international internet network.

Officials have said that internet service will be restored as soon as the work is completed and users will be provided with better speeds as usual.

PTCL ​​Group has apologized to users for any temporary inconvenience caused during this time and assured that the repair process will be completed as soon as possible.
