PTA denies reports of Jazz charging additional tariffs
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has strongly denied the news circulating on social media about Jazz charging additional tariffs to its customers. The authority said that the claims of overcharging are completely baseless and that unnecessary rumours are being spread among the public.
According to the PTA, no complaint has been received from Jazz or any operator about imposing additional burden on the customers, and the tariff adjustments being mentioned have already been approved by the PTA.
The authority clarified that strict monitoring of tariffs is being carried out to protect the interests of the customers and immediate action will be taken if any company tries to harm the customers.
