Transport Fare Relief in Rawalpindi | Diesel Price Drop Brings Cheaper Travel

Big good news has come out for the people suffering from inflation, where transport fares have been significantly reduced.

According to the decision of the Regional Transport Authority, the fares of diesel vehicles have been reduced by 15 percent while the fares of petrol vehicles have been reduced by 5 percent. It has also been decided to reduce the fares of goods transport by up to 26 percent, which is also expected to have a positive impact on the prices of essential goods.

This decision was taken in an important meeting in which transport unions and authorities mutually agreed to provide relief to the public.

According to experts, the reduction in transport fares will not only make daily travel cheaper but can also lead to a reduction in the prices of goods in the market.

It should be remembered that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his recent speech, announced a reduction in the price of diesel by Rs 135 per liter and the price of petrol by Rs 12 per liter, after which this relief has started to be passed on to the public.
