Corbin Bosch banned for one year for breach of PSL contract

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch from participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for one year.

According to the PCB, the action was taken due to the player’s violation of the PSL contract, in which he refused to participate in the league despite the agreed contract.
The PCB has confirmed that Corbin Bosch will not be eligible to participate in the upcoming PSL edition. At the same time, a financial penalty has also been imposed on the player, but the board has kept the amount of the fine secret under the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Corbin Bosch has acknowledged the ban and fine imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board and expressed regret for his action. He said that he apologizes for disappointing the fans of Peshawar Zalmi and takes full responsibility for his mistake.
This ban is not only an example to protect the reputation of the league, but it also shows the seriousness of the PCB to avoid such incidents in the future.
