ISPR Claims Four Drones from Afghan Territory Intercepted in Balochistan

In the context of border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Pakistan Army has claimed that four drones coming from Afghanistan were destroyed in a timely action in the border area of ​​Balochistan. The army says that no loss of life or property was reported in the incident.

According to the ISPR, the modern air surveillance system immediately identified the suspicious drones, after which the security forces disabled them on the way using modern defence technology. The army described this action as a manifestation of Pakistan’s defence preparedness and effective border surveillance capability.

The military statement accused the Afghan Taliban government of failing to take effective action against terrorist elements operating on its soil and that such actions were creating threats to the security of the region. The ISPR said that Pakistan has repeatedly demanded from the Afghan authorities not to allow its soil to be used against any country.

The statement also said that any attempt at cross-border infiltration or attack will be met with a befitting response and there will be no compromise on protecting the country’s sovereignty.

According to defense experts, this incident further highlights the importance of security cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan, while the use of modern technology is also being called indispensable to make border surveillance effective.
