Four venerable cricket players—Mushtaq Mohammad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, and Misbah-ul-Haq—announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) into the PCB Hall of Fame 2024 This is a major turning point in respecting the contributions these cricket stars have made to Pakistan’s rich heritage.
Usually, the PCB inducts two cricket players into its Hall of Fame yearly. This choice shows the board’s will to honor the exceptional achievements of previous athletes who have permanently changed the sport.
Under a clear voting procedure, a panel of cricket stars and experts oversaw the choosing process. The panel included PCB Hall of Famers Wasim Akram and Zaheer Abbas, former captains Azhar Ali and Bismah Maroof, former international women’s cricket player Nain Abedi, and eminent cricket writers and pundits Majid Bhatti, Mohi Shah, Mohammad Yaqoob, Noman Niaz, and Sawera Pasha.

One of Pakistan’s most prolific batters, Inzamam-ul-Haq became well-known globally for his constant performance and for helping Pakistan win many games.
Celebrated for his refined batting technique, Saeed Anwar is still among Pakistan’s best openers and is famous for his incredible performance, which included an ODI against India with a record-breaking 193 runs. The cool-headed commander, Misbah-ul-Haq, guided Pakistan cricket to great success in Tests and helped the squad to remain steady under trying circumstances.
The inductions this year add to a remarkable roster of PCB Hall of Famers: Abdul Qadir, AH Kardar, Fazal Mahmood, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Younis Khan, and Zaheer Abbas.
