According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, repair and maintenance work is underway in various parts of the motorway, due to which the flow of traffic is being affected and the movement of vehicles has become slower than usual.
The spokesperson said that to control the situation, additional patrolling units and personnel have been deployed on the relevant section to ensure safety and maintain traffic discipline.
According to the authorities, heavy vehicles have been temporarily barred from entering certain sections to avoid traffic jams. Citizens and drivers have been requested to exercise patience, follow traffic rules and fully cooperate with the officials on duty.
