KARACHI: Global stock markets witnessed a sharp downturn after the announcement of US trade tariffs, the negative impact of which was also noticeable on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. During the trading day, the 100 index fell by a record 8,687 points, but after a slight recovery in the closing moments, the decline was limited to 3,882 points.
