US has made a big mistake: Iran declares its reliance on international laws

Istanbul: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has sharply criticized the United States and said that the US president has deceived not only Iran but also his own people. Speaking to the media in Istanbul, Abbas Araqchi said that the US attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities are the height of aggression and this act is a clear violation of international law. He said that when a country that is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council itself harms world peace, the world should come to its senses.

Abbas Araqchi directly attacked US President Trump, saying that he came to power on the promise that he would take America out of wars, but today the same president has brought the world to the brink of a new war. He said that Iran will not bow down or stop; Tehran will defend its sovereignty and its people at all costs. The Iranian Foreign Minister made it clear that the US killed diplomacy, and this attack was carried out at a time when hopes for peace talks were rising. He called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council and appealed to the world to openly condemn the US aggression.

He said that the US has crossed a major red line for Iran by attacking nuclear facilities. Abbas Araqchi announced that he is leaving for Moscow today to meet with Russian President Putin so that serious consultations can be held on the situation. At the same time, he revealed that Iran was working with China on a ceasefire resolution in the Security Council, but now the global scenario has changed and a new strategy is needed.
