Shaheen Shah Afridi appointed new captain of ODI team, will lead against South Africa

A major decision has been made in an important meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in which fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed as the new captain of the Pakistan ODI team.

The meeting was held in Islamabad and was attended by head coach Mike Hesson, director of high performance Aqib Javed and other members of the selection committee. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the team’s future plans and the ODI series against South Africa.
